Confidently Confused Millennial

Hello party people, and welcome back! I am shocked that this is something I have actually kept up with! I know you are just DYING for a life update and what’s on my mind today, so here ya go…

My daughter started kindergarten and is THRIVING. I have never been so proud of her, and her teacher said she is a joy to have in class… a joy… MY kid!! That is a major win in my book. She also started cheerleading last week… I secretly hope she hates it because I know how expensive it is… but I will support her either way.

I want to take a whole paragraph to try to convey how amazing my boss is. I truly don’t think there is a better boss out there. She is kind, understanding, and just overall has an amazing heart. She also handles my anxiety so well… in the sense that when she says she has something she wants to discuss but can’t discuss it right away, she will tell me “No, you’re not getting fired and no you aren’t in trouble.” Like does it get better than that?! Work has been a struggle lately, but knowing she is in the trenches with me makes me feel that much better.

I am taking pictures for this blog this weekend and oh MAN I am nervous. I am so scared of trying new things, and getting outside of my comfort zone is something I hardly ever do… so be kind. Also, shameless plug, I made and Instagram too, so go follow it! The handle is the same name, Confidently Confused Millennial. For some reason, I am scared to have my friends follow my blog/Instagram? But I am okay with strangers following it?? I am weird, man. One of my good friends is taking the pics this weekend… go give her a follow on Instagram! Her company’s handle is Chcollectivephoto.

We hung out with my husband’s best friend and his wife this past weekend, and she is the one who encouraged me to make the Instagram. I just love clothes, shopping, and putting outfits together and she told me I had nothing to lose…so after some convincing (and a good amount of wine) I did it. Again, I am WAY outside my comfort zone here… but in a weird way, it feels good! 

BIG tattoo girl here… I have one big one and a few small ones. I am getting another one in a few weeks and I am beyond excited. I will post it here once I get it and it heals!! It will be a tiger in red ink… so badass.

I am searching for more purpose in my life besides being a mom, wife, and employee. I am hoping that sharing my thoughts/passions with you all will help give me that. Life is too short to not do things you love, so here I am. 

Laundry calls… comment your favorite clothing store you shop at! There is a high probability I will check it out and probably buy something… but don’t tell my husband! 😊
